When I decided to build another home I found the perfect lot in Greystone. I called one of the builders that was listed for that area, which was Advanced Building Concepts, Inc. After a meeting with the President of the company, Robert Butts, I knew he was the right builder for me. He is one of the nicest, most down to earth people that I have ever met. He listened to all my wants and needs and made suggestions on how to make them happen.

I was soon introduced to Mike Mcdonald, the Vice President of the company. I had the pleasure of working with him during the entire building process. Mike and I talked daily and he was instrumental in making the building process enjoyable and stressless. He made sure my house was built exactly to my expectations.

If I build another house I would definitely call Advanced Building Concepts, Inc. because I know they would build another great home for me.

My husband and I decided to undertake a major home renovation that involved an addition of approximately 1100 square feet, completely gutting and renovating our kitchen, master bathroom, 2 other full bathrooms, adding a powder room, relocating our laundry room, replacing all of our hardwood flooring, re-plastering and re-tiling our pool and replacing the hardscaping and landscaping. All while continuing to live in our home with our son!

After meeting with several contractors, we decided to go with Advanced Building Concepts. They actually happened to be one of the contractors recommended by our architect. When we met with Mike and Bob, we immediately felt comfortable with their approach to handling such a large job. They took their time to answer and address all of our concerns, and provided several options to conduct the renovations in stages to accommodate the fact that we would be living in our home during this process. There was a genuine quality about them that instinctively made them the logical choice for us. We just felt that they really cared about us as clients. Perhaps this is part of the nature of running a family-owned business.

Throughout the entire process, Mike was fantastic in communicating with us and updating us with next steps and time lines as well as costs and itemizing items in each progress invoice. His patience and sense of humor helped diminish the stress of living through all of the demo and dust. He didn't just oversee the work, he was extremely knowledgeable and hands-on when needed. We got to know Mike, Bob and Susan quite well during this time because they were so actively involved. We even got to meet the newest addition to their family!

It has been almost a year since the renovations have been completed, and we could not be more thrilled with the results. Mike has continued to follow-up with us to address the most minor details such as paint touch-up but mainly to make sure that we are completely satisfied with their work. We have been proud hosts of many gatherings with friends and family. We love everything about our new home which is almost unrecognizable from its previous appearance.

We would be thrilled to work with them again in the future.
